REVEAL › Chapter Two: “Pilgrims”
Dia de los Muertos – 2011
This year my altar has a very strong female vibe.
My Mother, my Abuela, my Sister Lydia
And my Foo Dog, La Lupe Lu.
It also includes Teena, Our Lady T of Venice Harlem
Sitting in her rightful place amongst the Goddesses,
Frida Kahlo, Kwan Yin, Isis and La Virgin de Guadalupe.
Yes, the Divine Feminine is all over this years altar.
And I really needed them at this time for so many reasons.
As Tori sings, “I need a big loan from the girl zone.”

RIP Steve Jobs…

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” -Steve Jobs
